Draft — review with a COPPA/privacy attorney before launch. Mama's Voice involves voice biometrics and is used by parents on behalf of children, so the final policy must be reviewed by qualified counsel.

1. Who we are

Mama's Voice ("we", "us") lets a parent record their own voice, which we clone so we can read personalized, age-appropriate bedtime stories to their child.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address.
  • Parent voice recording — a short voice sample you record, and the derived voice model ("voiceprint"). This is biometric data and is treated as sensitive.
  • Story inputs — your child's first name, age band, and any optional details you choose to add to a story.
  • Usage & payment data — basic usage analytics and payment records (payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store card numbers).

We do not collect a child's voice. Only the consenting parent's voice is recorded.

3. How we use your information

  • To clone your voice and generate + narrate bedtime stories you request.
  • To operate accounts, subscriptions, and credits.
  • To keep the service safe (content moderation) and to improve it.

We do not sell your personal data or your voiceprint, and we do not use your voiceprint to train third-party models.

4. Children's privacy (COPPA)

The service is intended to be operated by a parent or guardian. A child's first name and age band are provided by the parent solely to personalize a story and are minimized. Verifiable parental consent is obtained via the parent's account and payment relationship. Parents may review or delete this information at any time (see Section 6).

5. Storage & security

Voiceprints are encrypted at rest and access-controlled. Audio is stored in private object storage and served via short-lived links.

6. Your choices & deletion

  • Delete your voice in one tap from Settings → Voice — this removes the voice model from our providers and our records.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

7. Third-party providers

We use providers for AI generation/voice synthesis, payments, storage, and email. They process data only to provide their service to us.

8. Changes & contact
